Today marks the one year anniversary that I've been on Weasyl.

Honestly I wish I had more art to share here but...I just don't. I don't feel like going through my DA and copying every single awful piece and dumping it here. I've been there since 2007 and there's just too much. I'll eventually leave DA because I don't have much of a following there and I probably WON'T unless I participate in a ton of groups. I still will post art there for the time being and I hope that I can turn people on to Weasyl in the meantime.

I've been on FA since 2010. Somehow I've gotten over 100 watchers despite having mediocre art at best. I'm not even all that interesting, wtf.

And then we have 2013 as the year of the Weasyl. It's been a slow start but I'm hoping this will be a significant chapter. I want to be more involved in this community to help it grow and grow as an artist. Honestly, I don't want art to be the main focus of my career but that doesn't mean I don't want to do things involving art. I want to publish stories. I want to bring my characters to life and I'm going to keep at it until I get it. I don't plan on having kids so I want to leave SOMETHING behind. If it manages to inspire creativity in someone else, then I can die happy...unless I'm already dead.
