im apparently transphobic despite never saying anything against trans people but my friend did in a stream so that rubs off on me by proxxy.
Great!
Why does this work?
Oh well if your actions are based of one persons opinions everyone would be criminals -w-
I'm pissed more at how the person who bought into the lie is trying to guilt trip me about it.. just makes it that more irritating.
Never said a bad word against transexuals but apparently I hate them.. great even the friend who said it apologised and left.
said ex friend was transgender and its well known, someone i've never met yet their friend disliked me claimed I said it about someone else in a stream; however my friend said it in jest with no malice and was simply using the word "tranny"
Queue all sorts of lies angled at me, I just gave up and laughed the day I attack people for their gender/sexuality or whatever is the day I give up human contact.
Yeah, that particular T word is nasty, even I don't use it and I'm transgender D:. Thing is not many people know its a derogatory word much like kids these days don't know queer used to be a really nasty ass word, so I would never ever use that as an indication someone hates trans people.
So yeah they're being quite ridiculous and it seems like they're pulling at straws just to paint you as a villain.
I even told my friend that at a time, but social justice types and all that jazz.
I have plenty of transgender friends and met a truckload of trans people, I call everyone by their preferred pronouns and dont treat them any differently but god I am sick of people appearing and throwing the "ignorant" or "bigot" card about because someone god forgive them isn't on the same wavelength.
Friend who made the original journal wasn't attacking trans people nor saying anything bad about them he simply stated that "he has always used that term as its the most commonly used one" as it is in my country but I dont say it I just say "trans"
I've never attacked anyone for being trans nor do I care if they are it doesn't affect me unless I choose it to so i'll defend ignorant people attacking my friends character and mine simply because they can't accept people aren't on their train of thought.
:c People are poopy sometimes. I understand a lot of people are upset easily for good reasons but sometimes some people are just... yeah they're looking for reasons to be upset. Not just people in the LGBT either, bad social justice has transcended actual disenfranchised people and now you got people at like tumblr that are white and straight crying about reverse racism/heterophobia all the fucking time. Goddamn its like a competition for some people.
As the saying goes, "when you assume, you'll make an ass out of you, not me" or "and me" I think is tossed around at times.
The day I call my friend a bigot for using a word without malice is the day those same people understand real oppression, sorry I could say "homo" in jest to a gay friend and then go and defend a homosexual man/womans life am I as bad as the person attacking them?
Sources say "no"
Just to be clear, we do understand that my assume comment was about the person assuming that you hate trans people, correct? Meaning they're making an ass out of themself.
Aye I got that, i just pity the person who did It.. I'm the least bigoted person ever and seeing how relatives of mine are gay I take personal offence to people calling me bigoted/phobic etc.
My third year thesis in law was about gender equality, gay rights and abortion and yet I get sheltered kids telling me that im a bigot cause a friend used a word he didn't mean to offended and later apologised for?
Fuck that, when you have to take a friend to A&E cause they get beaten to shit for being gay/trans then they can speak about oppression, they're the problem.. living in a dream world where someone disagreeing with their moronic hate is somehow a badguy.
I refuse to hate "cis white males" to make some other tumblr feminist type feel better
