Silly, no. A broken heart is very painful...and suicide becomes a possibility when our pain has exceeded our ability to deal with it and we just want the pain to end. Is it the answer...no. But silly, no. Not at all.

Submissive. Without the air quotes.

I couldn't handle it...bad associations and a lingering feeling that the relationship is only open because I'm not enough, which then gives rise to feelings of inadequacy and at that point I start tearing myself apart.

If my partner chose/chooses me out of everyone to be with, then I'm the most important person to them and the opposite would be true.
