Well, for my first journal on Weasyl as I become increasingly active here, I'd first like to thank everyone who has started following me, it has truly made me feel welcome and i'm glad you enjoy the stuff that I upload. Props also to the awesome peeps at the Shark Furs group who I'm slowly getting to know, and i've starting submitting pieces to their collections, so yey to you too, fellow sharks. I have quite a backlog of both my own photoart projects and written fiction to work through before my Weasyl is up-to-date and two more pieces of commissioned art in the works, so yeah, you'll see me popping up regularly in your subs box.

Okay, onto a few snippets of info about myself:

What brought you to Weasyl?

Some might be curious about this, especially if they know I'm also active on FurAffinity. I'm not part of the exodus due to recent events there, though seeing many of the people I watch there moving either completely or spreading their wings gave me an extra impetus to do the same. During the December outage at FA, I kept hearing about Weasyl and people even then moving to it, so opened an account out of curiosity, and the desire not to keep all my eggs in one basket. I will say though that have not been happy with the way the situation there has been botched and mismanaged, and I can totally understand the reasons why some have parted ways completely with the site. I do like this site a lot though, so I'm glad curiosity lead me here.

What mischief do you get up to in your spare time?

I'm a gamer and an avid Second Lifer, so those two activities, devour a sizable chunk of my time. I also enjoy working on literary and artistic projects, and my 'narrative photoart' continues to be my main outlet of creativity. This is all bordered around by looking at the work of talented artists and commissioning an increasing number, spending far too much time on youtube and hurling insults back and forth at and generally being a derp with my closest friend and partner in furry crime, Skye Winter. She's awesome.

Name one of your passions in life

Music. My musical tastes have broadened immensely over the past couple of years and remains something I'm always on the hunt for new favourites with. The live DJs at Second Life clubs have definitely helped me gain a new appreciation for genres and styles that I really didn't have much for previously, as has associating with Skye. I have a fondness for electronica, but my tastes generally run to rock, non-screamo metal and hardstyle. Placebo is currently my audio crack.

Favourite Video Games / Series?

My big five are the Fallout , Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age franchises. Gawd I love these games. Halo is pretty high up in my love list too, as is Sins of A Solar Empire. Minecraft remains my 'zen' game. I have a fondness for jrpgs and retrogaming too.

Okay, gonna leave more for another journal, as I'm typing this up on my tablet, and if it crashes after furiously typing for the past 30 mins, it'll go sailing through the nearest window!
