Had a random conversation today that involved a comparison between Star Wars and Star Trek. I decided to make a joke about Mannequin Skywalker, which lead to the idea of all of Hayden Christensen's parts to be replaced with a mannequin with a wig and a lightsaber. No lines or anything. Other than that, the movie would be exactly the same. Great mental image, right?
Well, let's do the same muckery with Star Trek: TOS. Replace Shatner with a gorilla. I realize that this is an insult to gorilla actors everywhere, but the plot would basically remain the same. Of course, for safety, Spock would be animal control, armed with a tranquilizer gun. So, there you go, your delightful mental image of the day. Mannequin Skywalker and Gorilla Kirk.
