Ask me a question! by QTMelon

Go ahead and ask me a question if you have one. I think it's more fun to see what questions people pose for me.

I know, I put a lot of thoughtful words in this journal entry!

    How strong are you?

    • Link

      Mentally or physically?

      • Link

Physically. Are your muscles adept at the art of hoisting n carrying? :O

        • Link

I'm not very strong physically. At least I don't think though my co workers are often surprised at how heavy my book bag is.

  • Link

I'd like to know the physical answer to that one!

    • Link

I'm not very muscular. I carry around a heavy bookbag though.

What was the last book that was either so terrible or disturbing that you could not finish it (if any)?

    • Link

Well I was reading the Gantz manga. It got so repetitive and terrible I just stopped reading the series.

How sociable are you in real life?

    • Link

I'm told I'm very fun to talk with even though I keep to myself a lot of times. There were quite a few people upset during the Christmas party because they didn't get to sit at the tablet I was at because I seemed to be having fun. I often get asked questions or advice on a lot of things as well, and I'm told I'm rather well spoken.

I find I enjoy my alone time as much as talking with people.

    Conventions?

    • Link

I have been to a few. I mainly go to Anime Expo these days since it is local. Less worries about con hotels and parking.

      • Link

Ever thought about giving CTN a try?

        • Link

If I have the transportation, sure why not. If it's too far out and I need to pay for that and hotel space might have to think on it.

          • Link

It's at Burbank so it isn't too much of a hustle if AX is a stone's throw away. I found that to be one of the better (if not best) conventions I've ever attended.

            • Link

We are talking about LA Distances, though I have been able to reach Burbank a few times. I do not have a car so I take transit.

What moment in your life has made you most proud of yourself?

    • Link

I think a moment I took pride in is helping out those who have helped me out, and being able to help others. I had to go through a lot of financial issues and had a friend that helped me through those times without making me feel bad. When I was finally able to break through and earn much more money than the friend who had helped me I was able to help her financially for a while.

It was getting through depression that I feel good about. I still have bouts of it, but I feel good that I've been able to challenge myself and work through it.

That's wonderful to hear! I Know that feeling, I spent most of my life with barely enough money to get by, so nowdays I try to help out anyone I can with my extra money. I am glad you're feeling better about the whole depression thing, I'm still fighting it, Gotta get some new medication, I think, but as long as I never give up, Ishould be good!!

What is your favourite thing to draw?

        • Link

Stuff! I like drawing portraits a lot but I find that I am trying to tackle more subject matter. Specially since I'd like to try more mechanical related works.

          • Link

That's a good idea! Well drawn mechanical stuff is always so impressive. :D

            What's your favourite food?

            • Link

I eat a lot of Asian cuisine. I also eat Persian food too because well I'm part that lol.

              • Link

Oh cool! What is persian food like?

                • Link

Persian food has a lot of similarities to other Mediterranean food like Greek. One big difference is we don't make sticky rice. We make flavored separated Basmanti rice. Most popular Persian food is kebab and one green stew called ghormeh sabszi which is a green stew that's really good. I can make Ghormeh Sabszi at home but it's a rather time consuming process.

                  • Link

That sounds delicious~ Rice is awesome, and kebabs are basically an ultimate food. What kind of music do you like the most?

                    • Link

I listen to a lot of different songs, but I like Epic sounding soundtracks, game soundtracks and glitch hop.

                      • Link

Yessss~ Soundtracks are the best. :D I just wish it wasn't so damn expensive to buy legit copies of them, the latest one I got was the revengeance soundtrack, so good~
