Call for submissions: Tales from the Guild by Poetigress

I'd been wary of boosting the signal on this until some aspects were finalized, but we have a deadline and a pay rate, so I figure that's enough to go on for now.

The Furry Writers' Guild is getting ready to put out its very first anthology of fiction. They're looking for anthro-themed stories between 3,000 and 10,000 words (firm limits), general to mature (no erotica), themed around music.

Deadline is February 28. Pay rate is 1/4 cent per word, and the proceeds from this anthology will go toward future ones.

Full guidelines here, with lots more info:

One important thing to note: Submissions are open to everyone, not just FWG members, and because this is a paying anthology, if you're not a member of the FWG, an acceptance from this anthology will be the sale you need to become a member. In short, if you've been looking for a kick in the tail to finally get a story finished and submitted to an editor and maybe published -- this is it. Don't miss out!

I think...I'm going to take a shot at this.

So, I originally followed you after hearing about those Thursday prompts you once reigned over, because I've been discovering that writing prompts are helping me through my daily writing regimen in ways that I couldn't on my own.

I knew you weren't doing those any more, but... This might be just the kind of thing I need, and I think I have some ideas percolating in just the last hour since reading this. I'm glad I followed you, and thank you for putting this out there :3
