commissions inquiries! by ghost
i opened commissions for icons way way long ago and they seemed to be a hit (slots filled SO fast! thanks everyone), so i'm wondering if there's anything new i should open up for in the future
since i only open for one "type" of commission at a time, would you guys like to see:
- more icons? these are easy slots to fill seeing as the price is so low, but i get burned out doing similar compositions so often
- badges? everyone loves badges but i'm so bad at coming up with consistent compositions. plus, it isn't even con season...
- low-poly model + reference sheet bundle i've always wanted to do these but A: modelling takes a LONG, LONG time, B: these would be upward of $100, and C: i'd be picky about what i'd do. maybe i'll take a test commission for one sometime after i'm finished with icons. it'd come with a reference sheet that's at LEAST sketched out / coloured so the price isn't... too bad... (it'd also be rigged for SL, and i could upload on your behalf)
- design commissions basically give me a couple of prompts (species, attitude, colour, basic stuff) and i'd whip up a design for you and toss you a fairly basic reference sheet for it once i was done. these would be fairly cheap since it's kinda risky--maybe i should sell more designs in that case @_@
either way i'd like your feedback regarding things cause i'm so indecisive, and don't want to get super set on opening slots only to have things totally flop.

im SO interested in the low-poly+ref sheet bundle! id have to save up the money but it'd be worth it i think!!

i've wanted an icon from you for so long, my friend has one and it's so fantastic. everything else sounds superb as well, though!

I'm a badge junkie, my biggest tip would be to find a theme you enjoy for them. Icons are a nice thing but its not worth it if you get burnt out and have to force yourself to do them out of guilt.
Design commission is something of for sure get though! Your use of color is rad and you make really interesting hybrids!

I would love a badge, just gotta save some money first! Con season or not. I also think your designs would sell really well! I doubt any would go unsold if you made a batch of them to sell.

I'd love to see design commissions, and icons are always a popular thing, though i know it can get really repetitive.

I'm another one down for icons, but I'd also hit you up for a badge if you were to open for those! FWA (the only con I think is close by??) is like a month and a halfish away, so that gives you plenty of time so that you don't have to stress so much about making the cut.

Like I said on twit, definitely interested in an icon... do you do ref sheets that aren't for 3D modeled characters, though?

i do, sometimes, but i'm SO picky about customers (but i'm familiar w/ your character so i think it'd work out okay!). i usually do three-part turnarounds (front, back, side) but if you wanted a 3/4 front and 3/4 back that can work for me too.

Because I'm a horrible idiot and more than likely didn't look properly... how much are your icons, and how much are your badges?

icons are $15 (when i'm open for them!) and badges might be something like $20 (when i'm open for them, again)!
