heh, time was to edit a video from my HD camera took several hours, even if it was as short as 15 minutes. I had to set it up to render then go to bed. Assuming the computer didn't crash overnight it would be waiting for me in the morning. On this new computer the video actually takes less time to render than the video's actual length so yay! Another great thing is that the old laptop wasn't able to play HD video smoothly, to make edits I'd have to watch the video play in the camera and try to memorize where I would have to make the cuts, but now I can watch the video in real time and edit much more smoothly. Of course my internet speed is still pretty low, so uploading it can take a long time, but the hard part is gone! This should help with all my review videos about toys and stuff and I can post vlogs more often.
