I was browsing one of the animation blogs I frequent awhile back and there was a story about a Korean artist that looked pretty cool. So I followed the link and found a video of someone flipping through one of his sketchbook collections. I was mesmerized. The artist's name is Kim Jung-gi and man can he draw. This particular collection is from 2007, it's 1,000 pages long and it's JUST HIS SKETCHBOOKS from that year. Holy carp. Seriously, go take a look:

I ordered it, even though it's rather expensive because something really clicked with me. The book's arrived and I was not in any way disappointed. This guy can really really draw, and it's obvious he loves doing so. Each page is crammed with drawing after drawing. There doesn't seem to be anything he doesn't like to draw (there are even occasional furry things in there). His stuff is SO solid, so well thought out. I only hope I can learn a little something from this person.
If you have any interest in learning to draw more solidly, to see someone that REALLY thinks about form and shape, go check him out. The 2007 book is the one I got and, though pricey, I can't recommend it more. At least go look at his stuff on google:
Well worth it.
EDIT: Thanks to QTMelon, there are some WAY cheaper alternatives to getting the book. I should have looked into this, but I didn't. Go to the iTunes bookstore and find the same book as above for a fraction of the cost. And he has comics there, too!

And another:
I love his works, I also have his "furry" comics as well. I tried donwloading his sketchbooks on iTunes but it didn't work with my older iPad. I should see if it will work with my ipod Touch 5
Ahh, see? I just ordered the book. Didn't even bother looking to see if anything was available digitally. Stupid me. :"D
Not at all! I love keeping physical books as well. Some of my books can be well worth in the hundreds due to me keeping them in good shape. I know my Bargue book cost me a pretty penny as well as a few of the books from Ballistic Publishing.
There's just something about having it in your hand! But for those who can't afford there are alternatives that support these artists properly for their good work.
Sorry for the double comment, but https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/kim-jung-gi-sketch-collection2007/id591324150?mt=8 is his sketchbook online.
