TL;DR Open to any/all frands requests.
Okay, so now I see that Weasyl has this "Friends" category thing.
I don't want to get into semantics of that designation other than to say I won't be using it to indicate friendship because that's not how friendship works (I like to think my friends are friends, regardless of Weasyl account status). However, from what I understand, Weasyl functionally uses this distinction for determining access.
I might journal about personal things, local things, TMI stuff you might not care about. And in general, I tend to be wordy and blah blah blah a lot about random shit. I'll put that stuff into the "friends" category so that people who just want to be about the art can have it without donkey spam every time I can't sleep at three in the morning and need to overshare.
So if you do want that in your life, please just send a friend request and I'll happily do the friend swap thing automatically so that stuff will appear in your Weasyl feed. And if you don't want that stuff, then that's fine, too.
I'm still slowly going through and following/friending people at the moment, so I'll get to it soon as I can, thanks!

The local scene isn't terribly pro-queer-male. They're not anti-, necessarily, just a serious lack of representation and a lack of encouragement for crowds to make that representation. Going to an event in DC next month that's a happy crowd, though. It's just that QI sounds particularly awesome. Some year!

I feel weird about the "Friends" button on this site, but hey, if it lets me see the journals that I always find interesting to read, I'll gladly click it.
