i like to cook and clean and invent new specific compartments for each little thing at hand // i like antiques, particularly 20th century housewares, little things our grandparents used before our parents built that better mousetrap for us // i doodle on the guitar and daydream and fret // i pickle and ferment vegetables on the hobbyist level

What's your job or occupation?
i want to be a full-time cartoonist and house husband // for the time being i work at a goat dairy making cheese

i have no inclination toward spiritual, religious, paranormal or supernatural belief, or the belief in any sort of conscious ordering form in the universe // pretty firm in that the natural world is what is, what we get, and whether or not that's splendid or dreadfulhas no bearing on what is and is true

i do want to be a good partner and make a happy home // just the right amount of success and recognition for my work is a fine second // comfort and flexibility, to try a new venture, to travel, to not worry about money, those are what i want in life

too many crushes // i dated my one ex for a little less than three years and we're friends now

my partner, in love and life and work and play and being dreadful little dweebs

What's your favorite dish?
going to have to be up front that i will be a pill about "favorites." i'll give you a menu of things that i'm feeling at this moment // i distrust the concept of "comfort food" because of the whole perverted web of penance and obligation and virtue it ties the rest of eating to // HOWEVER // i do feel unusually contented making spaghetti, because i made it all the time in college and became very particular about just how i like it // for contrast, Korean food, especially all those cold buckwheat noodle dishes, is a wonderful unknown thing, and red paechu kimchi is god's own pickle // i like cheese pizza and i like ma po tofu // creme brulee with a small cup of good coffee and (not anymore) a cigarette // or coffee and croissant for breakfast // chocolate covered yeast doughnuts throughout the day // my grandmother's chicken and dumplings // any breakfast cereal while stoned // a pineapple so ripe it's almost turning into schnapps // grilled eel // an omelette, or fried eggs and ham // french fries (fast food style, peeled, oil-blanched then frozen before frying, with only coarse kosher salt), boston cream pie, pho with raw eye round, brisket and beef tendon and lots of fish sauce, dingy thin breakfast burritos with potatoes in them, east coast barbeque with Carolina (mustard and vinegar) sauce, a nice pickle spear

What's your favorite drink?
sweet tea, or coffee with cream and sugar, or a gin martini with either a lemon twist or pickled onion, depending on the gin, or bourbon (neat) or a big shitty frozen margarita with no salt, corpse reviver no. 2 when i can afford it and when i feel like impressing some nerd (never and never, though it is a nice drink)

generally annoyed by hyphenated food // i'm actually a picky eater! // hate the orange flavored sweets, hate green bell peppers, hate your favorite thing to eat

it doesn't matter! i imagine anything will taste rapturous perched on the abyss, knowing what that means //
