Regarding Weasyl by RottenCanines
Given the current circumstances over at FurAffinity I need to have a some sort of backup. I wont be leaving FA just yet, I just need to know I have a safe haven where I can turn to in case everything goes down the drain.
Weasyl is hard to get recognition on I am sure of it, but most of my followers are from FA and I love that. I probably wont get as popular as I am on FA but this is a fresh start.
I only feel insecure about FA at the moment due to what is going on and the drama have caused so many great artists to drop out. It's such a shame that Weasyl is so "dead" so to speak, barely any views or faves or comments and people don't know me.
I have been on FA since 2008 so I feel like it's my "home" to my furry artwork. I like Weasyl because of their many nice features, but I adore FA for its simplicity.
Anyway, more art will be submitted surely.

I don't know, I started moving my attention to Weasyl well before the drama blew up because I was just tired of FA in general and wanted to help foster the one thing everyone said was missing: community. I feel like the smaller population has allowed me to find some cool new (to me) artists I never could have found in and the giant mass that is FA - such as you! :D I'm happy now that "bigger" artists are moving here and I don't have to split my attention as much between sites, it gives Weasyl a better chance to become more active, but there's also something to be said for a smaller, more cozy atmosphere where its harder for anyone to get lost in the crowd.

I left FA years ago because Dragoneer is a douchebag. I heard they added someone who has been accused of rape to the staff. They could not have been dumb enough to think that that would go over well,....then again...Dragoneer is pretty fucking stupid
