Sleep! by Fengzhou

Why do you evade me?!...

Drives me nutty sometimes. I don't know why, for the past week I been sleeping in 3-5 hour stints and then today I couldn't keep awake at all around 8pm. I chose to lay down and well here we are past 3am and it's like 'morning time!!!!' in my head. ^_^

Anyone else have any stories about messed up sleep patterns and how you got your's back on track? Mine don't ever seem to listen to me when I try to fix'em...

    Ugh I feel your pain. D: I used to have an awesome sleep pattern, in the summer. I used to wake up at around 7am and go to bed at what I'd call a 'decent time' of between 9-10pm. Now I dunnow whether that was light driven or work driven...but now my work hours have shifted to all over the place, my body doesn't wanna get out of bed or go to sleep. Can't win. D:

    I've got anxiety disorder and pretty frequently can't sleep because of compulsive hypochondriac thought patterns. What has helped most is mindfulness training - being fully aware of the present, concentrating on your actual state of being; taking a passive inventory of problems and setting them aside in their own individual, manageable "boxes." It helps me focus and I find that the mental white noise quiets down a lot. "Yeah, I could have [disease here], but I am really feeling ok now. Worry about it in the morning."

    whenever i used to have that issue i would stay up well over 24hrs to fix it
    either that or go rep grind in WoW, you'll be bored enough to sleep after a few hours of that LOL
