Holy crap I've gotten like twenty new watchers in the last three days WHERE ARE YOU PEOPLE COMING FROM

First of all, I wanna say thanks to everyone who's watching me and occasionally reads my dumb little journals. They're boring, and I'm kinda boring, so thanks for putting up with me. Y'all are rad as fuck.

I don't really wanna talk too much about the FA thing because honestly, everyone's done that, everyone knows the story of what the fuck is/was going down for the last solid fucking week. But basically, all I'm gonna say is this: I'm really, really glad I got the hell out of there forever ago. Albeit for different reasons, but this was the shit-icing on the shit-cake. I'm appalled by the responses I've been seeing from so many of those remaining on FA, and honestly? I'll be glad when that place burns to the ground. So many disgusting, soulless people over there and unfortunately, that sort of attitude is why I pretty much gave up on the furry fandom altogether forever ago.

BUT ANYWAY YEAH. High-five to everyone who got away from that mess. Hopefully the users here will restore at least some of my faith in this fandom, but we'll see.

UPDATES:

1. Chainmaille Shenanigans!

I've been playing around with the scalemaille supplies. Turns out I have a really short attention span, so the bra I'm making is only about... 2/5 done? It's basically 3/4 of a boob-cup right now, haha. It helps when I'm just sitting down and have some background noise on so I can just tune out and pick away at it. I've been watching a lot of RuPaul's Drag Race while I work. Turns out I REALLY LIKE RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE.

Once I get a bit more of this bra done I'll take some pictures, so expect that... uhm. eventually. I have no idea tbh.

2. Work and Life Shenanigans!

Work's gonna be... interesting. I've started taking shifts up at another store here by my house, so I can get transferred up there. It's way closer to me, literally a five-minute walk from my house, and it's a lot less busy so there isn't nearly the stress as at the store that I'm working at now. I can actually bring my chainmaille stuff to work with me and tinker with it in my downtime! That's what I've been doing on my shifts at the new store. :P

... Also the new store I'm moving to is getting a KFC attached to the side of the building. THAT'S KIND OF A BIG DEAL, seeing as the franchise owner who owned like every single KFC in the province shut them all down a year ago. Now the only two that I know of that are still open are at the Avalon Mall on the other side of town, aaaaaaaannnnnd out in Carbonear which is like a two hour drive from where I live. I'VE BEEN HAVING GRAVY WITHDRAWALS.

3. Possible Fursuit Shenanigans...??

I know I don't really have a lot to do with the furry community anymore, but... There's still a part of me that kind of wants at least a partial fursuit of my old fursona, Kiha. Boyfriend's brother is going to be moving back in with us at the beginning of February... Which means in a month's time, my share of the rent will go down by about $100. So I might put that stuff into saving up for materials to make/have someone make a Kiha partial for me.

I had a friend of mine inquire about a resin eagle mask by yellow-fr3ak, and I'm definitely interested in buying from them to make the head with... Probably gather a few bits and pieces from DVC.

Boyfriend may be a little creeped out by it, I think (he's not a furry, has nothing to do with furries, and is honestly kind of scared of furries tbh), but I think it'll be fun!

Anyway, basically, I'm gonna try to be a lot more active here and stuff. And hopefully I won't bore you guys too much. :T
