I have to say, I'm getting really excited about the Great Weasyl Shift that's taking place. I remember when Weasyl first opened people were excited to get into it, but it kind of flopped after a week. Admittedly, I didn't help any by not making an effort to submit more work. But now that people are seeing the poor seam work that's holding the other website together, watching it fray, I feel like Weasyl is going to really pick up.

It's nice for me to have a fresh start somewhere new. I recently graduated university, and I'm still trying to get my motivation together to make again, and this is a nice little motivator. Plus, I kind of like that we have a relatively small community here, too. I feel like there's more opportunity for communication. I felt kind of like that when I first started using tumblr and twitter more actively, and I made some very good friends through that, and I hope that we a repeat of that.

Anyway, thank you very much for all the new follows, everyone. I hope everybody can get settled in here soon. I look forward to producing more illustrations and experiments for you all, and seeing your own work uploaded.
