Wow, ok... by therealurubabe
Since everyone seems to be fleeing FA like the plague, I guess I'll try to be more active about posting things over here. Not sure what everyone has against FA but 3 of the people I'm watching (and I'm not watching many people) just abandoned FA.
So... Stay tuned, I'm gunna TRY to be active over here.

Everyone's leaving because an admin now appointed to assist with FA's Project Phoenix was accused of supposedly sexually harassing a user a year or multiple years ago, and to try and prevent a shitstorm, the admins have been trying to keep everything quiet, either to protect the accused or the accuser(s). All of it is hearsay and a bunch of bullshit and is being blown completely out of control and out of context, but EVERYONE wants to be involved so everyone's 'leaving' or making some kind of statement... rolls eyes
That's where your sudden influx of activity is coming from. But honestly, if you're more comfortable on FA (like I am) keep your major activity there. It's your page/gallery/work; you should do with it as you please. :)

Yea, I never talk with the admits or anyone related with them really. I don't see why making MORE drama out of it is going to help anyone...
I like FA. There are TONS of people on there, there is lots of traffic on my page there, and that's where I get all of my commissions. With that being said, I don't want to lose customers by NOT having an account here that is active and up to date. Guess I'll have to try to keep up with both from now on.

You need to do what is best for you. I'm staying for basically the same reasons, though I have an account there, here, on DA and on furrific. There's this neat little widget that lets you upload submissions simultaneously on multiple sites. If you can find it, it might help you multitask both galleries.

Its really just a bunch of people being well... people. I can see why some would be upset. i'm just staying out of it, too much to worry about in real life and commission wise and stuff to be worried about admins and people kicking up so much drama. i've been trying to get into the habit of checking my other pages but fa is just second nature to me.

Yea, I just try to not be involved with any admits or anything that has to do with them. They seem a bit touchy and I'd just rather not add any unneeded drama to my life.

exactly. that and i don't have any actual proof of what really happened. no point in getting involved in drama that doesn't directly involve when i have enough to deal with as it is with people and things around me already. :) so best to just be neutral in it is the way i see it.

It all comes down to which you find to be the most comfortable place. If you feel the need to stay here at Weasyl let's hope you make yourself at home. Or maybe you'll find that FA's still good for you, but it's a good opportunity to find out - nature is constant change :D
