please don't act like children by Rinzy

For real. If you moved here from another site, that's great, but don't bash or bad talk that other site. It's childish and makes for a hostile environment for other users who still use or support that site. I'd wager that a large amount of the reason alternative sites fail is because everyone jumps on the "[ORIGINAL SITE] SUCKS" bandwagon, and then when the drama dies down where you came from, the people who would have otherwise loved to use the new site migrate back because they don't want to deal with people talking smack about a community they care for.

    Right? I'm seeing some pushback against Weasyl through no real fault of its own. Can't we just have nice things?

      really. I like Weasyl, but just like I liked IB and SF, the anti-FA sentiments are really strong and making me want to use the site less and less.

    Are people really doing much of this? :c I knew this was happening en masse at the start of the [insert site name here] chaos, but is it still going on? :C I thought it had mostly died out.

      It may be dying down on the forums, but it seems to have spiked a bit on the main site.

    I've seen more than a few journals now with sentiments along the lines of "I'm really starting to like this site due to the lack of drama... as long as people stop bashing [site] I'll stay".
