i don't really know what to feel right now other than "unsafe" and i'm glad that weasyl was created. i'm sorry i never really got stuck right in with it from the beginning. i should have.
what bothers me the most is that, in spite of everything that's happened recently, i can't shake the feeling that everyone is going to slowly trickle back to FA. please, do not 'miss' FA and do not start trickling back. learn to love weasyl or find a different site - there's several out there - but don't stand for a website run by someone who will grant a sex abuser uninhibited access to your personal information and personal notes. stand up for a staff that you can trust in, even if that's not weasyl's, and stand up for everyone who has been made to go through this kind of abuse in the past.
but... do not harrass, insult, or otherwise attack anyone who continues to use FA. especially artists who can't afford to lose their sources of income. just let furaffinity be furaffinity and shut it out. delete your bookmarks, deactivate your accounts and walk away.
let's be part of a community that takes sexual and animal abuse as seriously as it truly is, instead of brushing it off as "furry drama".
that's all i wanted to get out there. thank you to those who re-followed me here, and i'm sorry to those who chose not to for any reason.

Glad to see you here and posting man. :) And don't worry about people "trickling" back or whatever. If people wanna be on FA, whatever, they can, but we don't have to worry about that. The community can sustain several websites, it has already been doing so for years. Sofurry has been alive and well even before they changed for the frankly embarrassing form that was "Yiffstar." So as long as the creators themselves are willing to stay and post here, there'll be a community to support them. I'm sure of it.
Still love that icon btw.

i haven't updated my weasyl in a long enough time for this icon to still be up & i'm not intending to take it down tbh.
yeah, i guess it's really of no concern to me if people start to trickle back. it just sucks to think about.

If things go well I may end up leaving FA all together. Things are looking terrible over there. For now, I am focusing more on this site I think.

I don't plan on going back to FA myself after a lot of the things I've been seeing from everyone involved and the research I've been doing. I really like this site better.
Also, we've never talked and I'm trying to be more social, so Just wanted to say you do really cool work! 83

I don't think you can learn to "love" a site (or a person) love is something that just happens, you can learn how a site works since I don't do anything but to stalk the people that does amazing, cute, badass, sexy... (or I just like the person regardless what they do and how they do) I just go to where they are

since last year around my birthday i've more or less stopped using FA, as in stopped uploading and just kept like, fanart in my gallery while browsing normally
wound up having to bomb the rest of my gallery as a result of all the recent stuff popping up about how shitty and incompetent the staff are
just keeping my account strictly to follow artists until i've found other places to watch them all, or most of them, which hopefully will be soon, hhhh
