I find it a rather neat tidbits that journals are also notified on the browsing tabs.
Since it's how I found this one to comment on it in the first place. I find it neat to generate chatter with users :)

yeah im really loving the layout here x3 like i posted something and i got two comments which i didnt even expect due to just joining, it's great that people can actually be noticed here

Yup. People just need to keep being active here and I believe it should be a nice place if some people try give a bit of effort.
It's why I try to click the browsing button as often to leave comments on varied people's galleries or journals, see what kind of new submissions is posted. Amusingly most artist I like enough to start following I generally found through their journals.In a way, I like to think of it as a great tool to generate activity on the site if people give it a go.
