So. Fun times.
Apparently someone thought it would be fun or worthy to DDOS this website.
Well, in that a good thing it was back up so quickly, no?
I won't make any accusations as there's no proofs regarding anyone, but I can't help but find this.... oddly "well timed".

Which's kind of funny considering the efforts of Weasyl staff themselves to try to stay away from FA'sdrama and shutting down threads mentionning said drama here as well(though their reasoning can be basically justified that it isn't -their- business and the fact they try hard not to encourage a "competitors mentality" in users)-
Makes sense it would be a DDOS attack, could be someone who decided to troll everyone who is leaving by making it harder to do anything

I suspect the new drama at FA caused a massive increase of visitor and the server is having issues coping with it.

That's what people think, but it was basically confirmed at http://status.weasyl.com/ that it was a DDOS attack.

Somepony DDoSed this site... I wonder what the drek their motives were. I won't jump to any conclusions, but all I can say is that there is nothing "wrong" about this site and any other art community in the Wide Web. If you want to DDoS any furry community, you should hit SoFurry, since the Beta layout is STILL extremely buggy, despite being in the 4th update, lol.

No sites really deserve a DDOS in my opinion.
And I'm not leving the possibility out of it just being a case of "Trolls will be trolls" completely unrelated to "other things".As someone else said in the forums, DDOS nowdays are kind of a big internet welcome celebration for new websites anyway.
