As the title says, I just joined this website. :> I always find it nice to find new ways to show people my artwork. At the moment I will just upload somewhat older work. I plan on posting new work here too.

    Welcome to Weasyl :)
I hope you find it a nice place here. I know I do :)

Thank you, It seems like a nice place so far :D

    It is ^^
There could be a bit more people/activity, but then again it is why I try to make a point to find at least one new artist worth watching every days :)
Or you know, just leave the occasional comment/fav/etc on various people's galleries so they know this isn't an empty place.

Personlly I like it both on aesthetics and technical basis. There's no 60 seconds delay whenever I have to upload a batch of commissions from yesterday's livestream session(which the website -has- a notification system for streaming artists), nor is there a max resolution limiting you as an artist when posting art.

I keep my FA account since it has much more viewers, but I also try to take profit from Weasyl's features so for every resized images I post on FA I add a simple "For the max resolution image, follow this link" line :)

Judging from the front page there is quite much art uploaded here. I will leave some comments on galleries and such, it is nice to have some activity here. I also like the aesthetics of this website a lot. The submission process runs smoothly too, I think it is better than DeviantART's or FurAffinity's process. I will keep active on DA and FA too though :D

It never hurts to be active in more place than one :)
The trick is trying to use each websites for what they do best. Which's why I pretty much crosslink to the fullres versions of my images on Weasyl whenever I post anything on FA(since image resolution is limited there).
And so far it not only sems to be brilliantly coded but also brilliantly managed. Just look at this page and then weep the next time we get the "FA is down" status page: http://status.weasyl.com/

The two just don't compare on a technical level.

Woah that page indeed shows a major difference between FA and Weasyl. XD I can remember the FurAffinity status screen pretty well, it is nothing like that haha
