So it started with just wanting to sketch something different for a fantasy theme that wasn't all medieval. I really love the twenties as a setting for stories and decided that it would be fun to draw some fantasy characters in 1920s fashion.
So I've sketched up a witch (though I am thinking of making changes)
Now I need some other typical fantasy archetypes.
The Ideas I'm working on:
The Knight/Paladin: I have a scribble in my sketchbook for her (yes, she's going to be a lady knight. Because I said so!) She will essentially be more military, possibly with some armor, but I haven't decided yet.
The Beserker: Has to be a big gangster (what's a twenties theme without gangsters?).
The Sorcerer: will probably be a dandy or something.
Ranger: no idea what to do with this one.
Engineer: also not sure... I want to try to be creative with this one though.
Alchemist: No ideas, but I want this one to be a lady.
The Bard: Is so totally going to be a jazz singer.
I am open to other ideas! If you have any suggestions for this at all I would love to hear them.
I will probably be sketching this off and on.
The ranger could always be a bootlegger. They'd have to be very good at traveling over long distances and not being seen while following only the thinnest of trails.
If you're really pushing a prohibition theme (in my head the 1920s = prohibition and flappers), the alchemist could always be a bartender. An alternative option could be something like an elderly Chinese medicine saleswoman, perhaps?
I've got nothing for the engineer. Zeppelin pilot?

ACDragon
I have an idea for The Berserker. Have a big bulky character wearing a fancy gangster suit and holding a Tommy Gun in each hand, sort of like the Borderlands 2 character Salvador the Gunserker.
