Hey Guys! I'm officially back from my christmas holiday!

First off, Happy New Year to everyone! x3

Hope the year is a good one, certainly the first half for me.. (long story... ^^')

For those i'm doing gift art for, sorry i've missed the x-mas deadline, thats partially my poor time-keepings fault. XP

So, the holiday?

interesting to say the least, a lot happened we hadn't planned on, not least because it made sleeping arangements a bit odd the first night. XD

First day we got down to Ajax Bay to have a look at the refrigeration plant/field hospital, or at least whats left of it. I got a bit of footage and some stills for the TV station, given the state of the buildings we can't see it lasting much longer. Part of the footage includes a few Cara-Cara's roosting in the rafters, making sounds that i SWEAR was someone nailing something to a steel gurder!

Upon a quick beach-comb, I came back with a few interesting bits from the refrigeration side of things, plus what looks like a Scimitar tank-shell (used) and a Scorpian/Scimitar tread-carrier wheel! htf did i miss that before?

Second day was 'Trail Blazing', going around the farmland to have a look around and beach-comb again. x3

Me and dad on the quads, mum following in the car. Plenty of nice views and all that, plus a nice day to go 40kmh over falklands terrain. Of course when i got back to the farmhouse (and pretty much every following day since) i've friggen well felt every last bump and pothole on the 20-odd mountains we scaled. XP (aching arms and legs.. not nice)

Now, i did take my laptop AND pencil+paper+etc with the intention to draw something... (ifailz.avi) so i'll be doing my best to start doing SOMETHING worth looking at soon. >3<

But for now, rest easy and have a great start to the new year. :D
