Bye Moosh, I miss you by QTMelon
I just came home and noticed that my longtime male Teddybear hamster Moosh wasn't sleeping in his usual spot. I found him in another part of the cage passed away. He was over 2 years old so I knew his time was coming soon. But it makes me sad I wasn't around during his final moments in case there was something I could do to ease the pain.

I know what it's like, as I found my son's (more like mine, as I was the one to care for him) 2 years old hamster dead in his normal spot. He was having a lot of health issues though, and we were thinking of letting him go... Worst part was telling my son.
I wont have hamsters anymore, as I have 3 cats and I would be devastated if they killed one. This little one survived two encounters with them, but he was a lucky hamster, and a little houdini XD. -
