2014 Conventions: Opinions PLZ by AnimeCat

I know I don't get a ton of traffic on here and my watchers are few, but for those of you who do read this, would you mind giving me your opinion/feedback?

I am starting prep for the 2014 convention season. My first con is in February in Texas, and I'm planning on what plushies to make and bring to offer for sale. I have a few new designs, but there are some old favorites that have consistently sold well too....

Ponies. My Little Ponies, to be exact. I'm getting kinda tired of making so many before each convention, and I don't want to make the entire over and over again each month. I'm going to be cutting down the number of pony plush I make for each con, but I need to know which character are REALLY in demand. So, here's where YOUR opinion comes in! Which pony character- mane character, sidekick or background pony- do YOU want to see? Which one would you buy, if the choice was up to you?

Please leave your choices in the comments!

I won't be at the con, but in my experience you can't go wrong with Derpy, Princess Luna, and Vinyl Scratch :) When I was making pony merch to sell at conventions these were the 3 that consistently sold out first. These characters are also some of my personal favorites as well and if I bought pony stuff at cons I'd look for those guys. It's good to have the mane 6 but I actually found most of the Mane 6 are actually really low sellers and if I was doing limited merch I'm not 100% sure I'd stick to just them!

Hope that helps at least! Look forward to seeing what you come up with if you post them n.n

Thanks, Idess! I do sell a lot of Derpy plush, as well as Vinyl and Shining Armor. Though only my plush sell consistently. Most of my other merch, I have a hard time moving. None of my Luna prints sold at the last MLP con. In fact, almost none of my art prints sold.

Prints are one of those weird things that sometimes they go some times they don't. I'm still having challenges selling anything but personalized art atm. Maybe find a way to do some premade art that can be easily customized?
