General Updates by Malachyte

Happy almost new year's day, wow! Who likes to use small sentence in a list format to tell people about their current state of affairs? I do.

Personal

-I am not super sleepy and sad feeling anymore, and I thank all of you for your support during that.

-My carpal tunnel is being a butt right now, though.

-I learned how to make eggnog, and it was pretty easy and very delicious.

-I'm going on a trip for a couple days soon, and I'm really excited.

-I'm still not great at time management, but I'm improving.

-I still don't own a pet, and that sucks.

Art Related

-Commissions are still open

-I'm going to really try and power through my touched-up last version of Twincest, so I can put it up for digital sale, along with a bunch of bonus images of the twins. I want to have this done in the next month, and I think I can do it.

-I am thinking of setting a regular time each week for stream commissions, because I like doing them.

-I am thinking of opening a different kind of commission, based on themes/ideas I have that I want to draw, this way I can relieve my need for creativity without ignoring other areas in my art time better.

-I wish I had a proper stand for my Copics, so they would stop sliding out of the box full of empty TP rolls and scaring me randomly.

That's enough of that, now tell me about the last book you read. Describe not the story, but the actual, physical book. Let's be weird.

Paperback, heavily read, cover tattered and torn. :D

Big-ass paperback textbook. Cambridge press. Nice glossy pages. Pretty sure it was unused, or at least I don't remember seeing any passages defaced with a highlighter.

Half German text, half Russian. Fairly crisp, not too heavily marked, still retains that "new print" smell, even though it's been in my possession for a few years now.

Oh, and lots of black & white dots, and tons of lines. (it's a score to a symphony)

PDF on a tablet. Snagged off a forum to see if i want to buy the hard copy. :)
