A reminder about Weasyl's "Friend" feature: I've gotten a new bunch of friend requests, but I don't reciprocate them unless I've exchanged a few words with a person and/or I follow what they do. I know there's a chance some people I have met may be sending friend requests, but I may not be able to tell just based on a fan-name and an icon, here. If I haven't reciprocated a friend request, I apologize, but it's nothing personal. I love you all for your support.

Personally I don't actually send out friend RQ's to people I don't know. Sure, I love many artists and their work, but I wouldn't pretend to actually know them intimately or at all just because I comment on their stuff.
I love making friends, but popular artists can't hope to manage that many people as friends. -

I add either friends or artists I want art from as friends, the rest of the artists that I like their art but just don't want any, I simply watch

I thought that was a matter of common sense. If I don't know someone, no matter how much I like their art, I wouldn't request them to be my friends (virtually or otherwise).

That always did weird me out when someone I've never talked to in my life would send me a request, especially if they have no profile info and have never even left me a comment. It is the definition of strange behaviour.

No problem. A follow is good enough. I'm a fan and all, but we never have actually said anything to each other, so it's all good. XD
