Dust: An Elysian Tail by FurryJackman

So, holiday sale went on Steam 2 weeks ago and I got Dust: An Elysian Tail. I expected cute anthros for sure, but didn't expect what happened as the game progressed.

If you've played the game, the moment in Mudpot, the moment with the snow and the ending were all tearjerkers. It got so feelsy that curiosity got the best of me one night when I was close to completing the game but had to sleep. I just had to finish the game... It ended up in me crying for a few hours after I finished it.

My friend called it "Post-Avatar Depression." (the James Cameron film Avatar) in which your severed connection with a character you cared about in a fictional work really gets you down.

And I'm gonna say it now, Fidget is just a female Daxter. My connection was actually to Dust's character, hence why I cared so much that when the end came, it really hurt.

Dean Dodrill, you've successfully made the first video game to truly make me cry. It's a goal in narrative video games to achieve that, and I will definitely say that it's Achievement Unlocked for the best emotional story one could ask for.
