YCH

First off, the YCH is over. Thanks for tolerating me spamming advertisements for it and such. It was a fun experience. That said, I don't think I'll be doing another for a while. Maybe in the future though? We'll have to see. ^_~

FangCon

FangCon is coming up. I'm incredibly excited about going. I still have a lot to do for it though, so that part is a little bit scary. Mostly because I keep forgetting it's 2 weeks away, not just 1. ^_^; Right now, we're working on a miniature plinko game for the carnival games. I'm really hoping a lot of people enjoy it. It's part way done. Yesterday we came up with the design and how we want to make it, sketched it out on the board, drilled holes for the pegs, sanded it down, bought some washers for plinko chips, and superglued a bit of the board we discovered was trying to come apart. Today we're hoping to paint it and get the pegs in. I'm so glad that Norv is helping me out with this project, since he knows more or less what he's doing. XD It's been a lot of fun. ^_^

I've also got 4 badges that are finished up, but need to be printed out (for 3 of the 4), laminated, and clipped. I'll probably end up doing that next weekend though I may get at least 1 done earlier. The 4 badges are a set of couple badges for me and Norv, a new badge for my fursuit (and her little pet sheep), and a gift badge for graphiteforlunch on FA.

I hope to see a lot of people there! And even more next year. We're working hard and already starting to plan next year's con. One thing we want to do is try and change up our date. We kinda wanted to this year, but with troubles getting a good hotel, we got what we could. So hopefully next year the schedule fits better. ^_^

Other Projects

I've got a few more pictures to upload at some point. I've been spacing them out a bit so that my account doesn't look as dead as it was. I've also got some that needs to be scanned and uploaded as well. Really need to do that before they get too dated. Lol.

I've got a trade lined up as well. I'm kinda excited about it because I'm going to be getting my new pony OC as a repainted figurine. Yes, I'm into MLP. I've been since pretty much forever, so don't act surprised. :p I don't really do a ton of pony artwork, but some pictures may creep up. And other fanart things might as well, not sure on that one yet.

Moving right along, the other main project I want to work on is some new ref sheet. I never got through all of mine and Norv's characters the last time I did ref sheets. Partly because of trying to do individualized poses and such. I love those, don't get me wrong. But when doing as many as I wanted, it didn't quite work out before I ran out of steam. So I'm planning on making a new ref sheet template for our characters. I still want to make individual edits for them for their different personalities as well as body types. So hopefully that will appear soon.

The other major project will unfortunately, not appear here most likely. I've been doing a lot of pet commissions on Aywas lately. I haven't really been posting them up on here though for the most part. Though I'm tempted to post up some of the more detailed ones I've done/will do. I've got a bunch lined up, though, so artwork over here may go a bit slower. I'm gonna try and balance out art stuff though. I don't want this account to ever look as dead as it did for a while there when I was finishing up college.
