I'm in a new place, and it's a townhouse! For the first time, I live somewhere with a second floor, and even a basement. it feels huge! I can go in a totally different part of the house and not hear my phone. Speaking of, it turns out my phone gets zero service in this entire town, so I am going to have to get a new one. To anyone who has tried to text me, this is why I haven't responded.

I went to the library in this little town today, while getting to know the area, and I have so many feelings. It's the size of a small 2 story house, but the books are only on 1 floor. It's open 2 days per week, for a total of 8 hours. The lady who works there is at least 70 years old, and is very sweet. There are no library cards, and no due dates or late fees. They stamped my card with a stamp inside the book, like the good old days. Inside the book, the first check-out date listed was 1968. The old lady was chilling with her two other old lady friends, and they were all talking about the sore on her foot and fluid drainage. There are spider webs in each corner. I kind of want to live there.

Our new place has lots of sunlight, so I'm going to finally get to do a proper garden come Spring. I've got some plants I'll be trying to get going indoors, but I really, really don't have a green thumb, so we'll see what happens ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

About commissions, I'm going to keep my status as temporarily closed while I play catch up on the commissions I already have in my queue, but it will open pretty soon. I'm officially making art a side job for myself, and will be taking it quite seriously now that I'm moved, which is something I've dreamed of doing but never thought I'd be able to. I'm even going to start paying taxes for my freelance stuff :U I hope I can figure it out alright. That includes art and translation work, btw.

I'm still going to get a solid, go-outside-my-house job, though I may work only part time, while I focus on art and translation. I'm essentially going to be working 3 jobs for a while, so things are about to get crazy in here, but in an awesome way.
