Weekend went well until it didn't. Bit of an emotional/mental rollercoaster I don't want to get into here. Probably didn't help that I forgot to take my new anxiety meds for two days. Oof. 

But hopefully this week will be more productive. Got art to work on and writing to do. Keep getting nice comments on those short stories so I'll definitely be working on more of those. Got one with three new characters in the works, plus ideas for plenty more. The one I'm working on will involve a pair of painted dog twins, Trevor and Jenn, hanging out with their friend (a border collie named Alex), who needs cheering up after a rough week. After some some games, dinner, booze, and idle chit-chat, they find out he's bi, and start having a playful flirting contest to see who can fluster him more. Aaaand this being one of "those" kinds of stories, you know where that's going to end up. ;P

And of course I'm still working on MHO. Got a fair chunk of the next chapter written up. Having some fun with working out the details of the effects of Gleam's latest dream. Get ready, things are gonna start getting... exciting~

Also, I'm tentatively shopping around for YCHs and artists to commission. For one thing, I have something in mind for a celebratory pic for a certain big moment in MHO that'll be hopefully coming up within the next month. (Or two months at the latest.) But I'd also just like to get more art of my sona and other characters in general. I've tried browsing various sites for YCHs, but it's surprisingly hard to find ones that appeal to me. Not to mention the prices vary hugely. I've seen them way over my budget (capping it at $100 for now, though might go higher for the special pic), but also suspiciously low (<$25 for some fairly decent looking stuff) that makes me wonder if they aren't trustworthy. So idk, probably gonna be more waiting and shopping around than I expected. There's a lot of YCHs out there these days, but I guess I never realized how hard it is to find ones in a style I like, at a price within my budget, and involving poses and such that I like. 

And, speaking of art, like I said I'm hoping to do some more drawing sometime this week, and part of that will hopefully be some character portraits for a tentative ask blog thing on Cohost for my various OCs. Been kinda planning it for a while now but keep putting it off for various reasons. I just wonder who might actually even be interested in the idea...

Finally, in annoying news, I'll have to go to Mississippi again this Thursday. Ugh. Only a couple days, but I'm tired of being dragged over there. On the bright side this may be one of the last times I need to. Wheee....
