Hello everyone! Hope you had a good weekend!

Not a huge amount to say on my end right now. Didn't do any of the drawing I'd intended to do sadly. But hey, I managed to crank out a couple more chapters for MHO! Really got stuck on the lyrics for a song at the end of chapter 8 for a bit there, but I think I'm reasonably pleased with what I came up with. Hope you're enjoying these cute little moments! 

And I'm really excited about the next chapter. There's a thing involved that I hinted at in some other posts on certain sites earlier. Suffice to say there'll be some potent magic involved, and an interesting, very new character will be making an entrance! Plus some returning faces shortly thereafter.

On a tangential note, I've spoken before about how I'd like to eventually convert MHO to another medium when it's finished. For the most part I've learned towards some kind of visual novel, ala ren'py. But lately I've also been giving an RPG, like the kind you'd make with something like RPGmaker, some more serious thought. Granted, that program is still annoyingly expensive, but I know there's alternatives as well. So I'll just wait and see. 

In other news, I also want to write some more unrelated short stories on the side. That one with Brooke and Kael was fun, and I'd like to play around with more characters, too. It's a nice way to shake things up and keep the creative juices flowing. I'm even considering opening an "Ask my OCs" blog on Cohost for fun. And yes, that would include MHO characters, too! (based on where they are currently in the story) Might alternate between which sets of characters are "active" for asks at any given time, hehe.
