(...Wait, a 'rollrecoaster'? That doesn't look right.)

Anyway, yeah! Another year, another end-of-year journal. Which I definitely didn't forget to make until the second week of the new year, nope.

It was okay, all things considered! A lot of stuff happened, so it didn't feel as slow as the last few years.

As you can guess from the title, my personal life had lots of ups and downs. Many high highs...and many low lows. Not really stuff I wanna go into detail in public, although many of these lows were related to mental health stuff. Thankfully, nothing too serious! But it's still stuff I don't want to ignore, especially since it affects my ability to keep a consistent writing schedule. I'm working towards a solution, and hope to actively deal with this throughout this year and beyond.

As for furry/vore community stuff, it's definitely been good overall! Finally made a fursona, and people hate it less than I expected...! I also commissioned a lot of great artists for art with my sona and some other OCs - all of which I'm very happy with, after years of lurking and silently admiring their stuff, and now getting to directly support them! I met so many great people, and got involved in some smaller communities I'm happy to be a part of. I've also released a bunch of new stories (although I didn't finish The Lost of the Marshes like I'd hoped in the last journal, but that's alright - I still have plans to continue it throughout 2024). These stories also include commissions and requests, which I've dabbled with a lot more in 2023, and I'm happy with all the opportunities and support - thank you!

However, even though I just posted a commission, I'll be taking a break from commissions for the start of this year - and give myself some time to write some of my own ideas, or maybe just try to take a break in general, who knows. I do want to go back to working on commissions eventually, when I'm more motivated. Anyway, commissions or not, as you may have guessed, I'm not going away anytime soon! I'm still gonna keep working on stories - and try to become better and better at this whole writing thing, as my main goal has always been.
