Just back into town from that week-long trip. Had a pretty nice visit to the Smoky Mountains with my family. Unfortunately... I don't have a finished chapter to upload just yet. Sorry! T_T; It just didn't go how I planned at all. I ended up having very little time to just sit down and write each day, and even when I did, I kind of had other things on my mind. See, we got a message on Sunday from the place we boarded our dogs, telling us that one had to be taken to veterinary ER. Turns out the poor little guy is diabetic and he has pancreatitis. We were afraid we might get a call any day afterwards that he'd passed away. Luckily, he seems to be bouncing back a bit, especially now that we're back and have him back home with us. But yeah... having that on my mind in the evenings made it hard to focus on writing, especially spooky/scary stuff. 

That said, I did make SOME progress! I plan to work on it heavily over the weekend and hopefully have the next chapter out by Sunday at the latest, and maybe even one or two more by Monday or Tuesday. Yeah, this does mean the spookies will last through Halloween well into November at this rate, but hey- Xmas does the same to Thanksgiving and Halloween all the time anymore, about time we struck back! :P
