I wanted to do a series of journals for all my new followers as well as old ones. In this world--there are people who stay private or hide behind a 'sona online. But sometimes there are people like me--who are exactly like they are in real life. So, I wanted people to learn a little bit more about me--how I draw the way I draw and why I draw what I draw. My likes and dislikes. So, you can get to know me as a person. :)

So, today is a brief introduction as a welcome to my page. Some people will know these things, others will find this information to be new. :D

Like I say in my little blurb on my top page, my name is Patty and I love to read, write and draw. Those are my top things. My username of "keirajo" comes from Keira-Jo, my Sonic fansona and I've had her in existence since 1997, when I created her for a Sonic fan-club (which disbanded) and then used her in the [comic-book based] fan-fiction I was writing at the time. Just to have a recognizable avatar and name online--and that was the name I chose for my very first e-mail address..........it was good to keep consistency. So, on sites that I'm on--when you see some variation of the name "Keira-Jo"--it might be me. But I am on very few sites, so beyond Weasyl, Archive of Our Own and Toyhou.se............someone may have stolen my name and Sonic-sona. shrug

The internet is............the internet. I just grudgingly do things on it. I like making friends, but I don't really like technology and the internet in general. I'm kinda getting old and stuff is going beyond what I can deal with. But I really am only online to make friends and share my art and fan-fiction. I don't care much about the internet in any other way.

The icon I am currently using is of my fursona, Wabi--his species is a Despair Dog...........which is a species I created. Buried in my journals, you can find info about him and the species. XD Why he is male and I'm female and I call him a fursona--well, I'm really very tomboyish. I'm not really any of the things other than straight and female, but I'm extremely supportive of other genders and sexual preferences. Maybe because I am so tomboyish I feel I can relate to either male or female genders? This particular artwork of Wabi in my icon was done by the artist "HappySorry" (on this site and several others), who created a wonderful unique species called "Taums".

I work in a Library, full-time, so I have very little time for other things outside of working and sleeping. But I try. I've worked at my job for 32 years now...........and I hope to retire in the next 10 years or so.

So, that's it for today. Next Friday I'll tell you more about my hobbies. :)
