CaffeinatedCultist’s Terms of Service 2023

Let this be your guide. My TOS is subject to change at any moment, so please check back here often. Most artists have one. I know it's boring but, it exists for a reason. I host snippets of this TOS over on Telegram too in it's own channel.

Section 1: The Rules

0. I primarily operate over Telegram, so feel free to join by the channel.

1. I only take payment via Paypal Invoices

2. I take full payment up front once all details are discussed and verified.

3. I have the right to cancel or refuse your commission for any reason(s), especially if you are rude, or incredibly impatient.

4. Please be sober of the mind before commissioning me. I take no responsibility for any orders placed under the influence. No refunds!

5. Off-the-menu commissions are kinda touchy. You can ask but I can't say for sure if I'd approve even if payment is offered up front.

6. If you commission me without a clear ref, and cannot provide a cohesive prompt of what you want - I will put your commission on hold until you are ready to provide details. This means you will not enter the Queue. I am not a mind reader, therefore I cannot magically make something for you unless you tell me.

7. You are provided the TOS before payment. Fully paid commissions will be counted that you have fully read and understood this TOS.

Section 2: Common Questions

0. ALL inquiries, business related or otherwise will be routed to my curator @SelfDugGrave (also my front desk.) They are far more capable of handling the general public, and have more patience and social skills than I do. I will only be involved when discussing art trades.

1. I like to keep my art SFW, but I am okay with suggestive themes and pin-ups. Just not full on NSFW.

About your position in the Queue, ETA, and TAT, other information

Short: Become a supporter on my Ko-Fi. it's not very expensive and I'm not the first or only artist to have this set up.

Long: Working full-time 8-10hrs 5 days a week (yes I take weekends off.) This alone is 40-50hrs max. Each piece takes different chunks of time. I can really only prioritize those who are supporting me directly for obvious reasons.

Estimated Time of Arrival.

Short: It's done when it's done :)

Long: As stated above, I can't accurately give estimates so it's best to assume 3-6 months from the date of payment. Not that it would be a realistic estimate but it's a pretty good window. Depends on how many orders are currently active total. Depends on exactly what the orders are too. If you happen to jump in at the last minute and claim the last slot, then you would be placed at the bottom, as I would work in the order which commissions are placed. I don't like to rush my work, so if you are kind and respectful, you will have what you paid for when it's finished. if you are super nice, I might even throw in something extra because you didn't harass me.

Turn around Time.

Short: Depends on what the commission itself

Long: Again like the above stated entries, it's not something that can be easily estimated. If you are an impatient person by nature, honestly I would advise to look elsewhere! Or simply wait until I open up my rush-fee option again. It's unlikely to come back for the public though. Sorry.

Work in Progress/Process.

Short: These are not provided on smaller orders. Only complex, or big orders and involving multiple characters or just something specific requested by the commissioner.

Long: Every artist is different and it's not a common thing in my experience except for full-bodies. Giving out WIPs to everyone also takes a lot of time to save, export, send to you and WAIT for a reply which might take days. At that point I would simply work on another commission while I wait, which could bump you down and take even longer. If I did WIPS for everyone, this would take an unreal amount of time just waiting for approvals.

Longer: If I messed up on your commission and it is my fault for misinterpreting something you said or if I somehow get mixed up, you are allowed a free edit to of course get what you paid for. If this somehow cannot be done, I am happy to compromise and work out another deal/comm free of charge.

If you however did not provide everything I needed before payment during the details discussion phase, I will charge you a fee for the edits to correct your commission.
