Hey All,
I have a urgent message regarding a rescue I know of.

Albatross Aviary Bird Rescue and Sanctuary is a non-profit 501c3 organization. Their mission is to rescue, rehab, and re-home pet birds from dire situations. But, also about spreading awareness of proper pet bird care and teach better understanding of their behaviors.

I have mentioned the rescue and the owner Gairen in journals before. Things have gotten PRETTY DARN BAD.

With the constant inflation and not getting any donations or new volunteers, he had to move out of his place and into the rescue. He's pretty much running the rescue by himself.

I found out about it, at my latest visit on Sunday. I was in completely shock. He looked mentally and physically exhausted. I feel so bad for him. Small Businesses and Rescues are still feeling the hurt from the Covid-19 Shutdown.

The so called money handouts that the Government were SUPPOSED to send out to help small business, was PRETTY MUCH NOTHING. Barely ANY FUNDS to keep rent paid, bills paid, and being able to pay staff. I know a few small business owners around my area. During the time of when the shutdown was lifted, I found out from the owners how SCARY CLOSE they came to losing their businesses. If it hadn't been to be able to sell things over the web, most of them would of closed their doors. Some even had to let go of workers, that had been with them for a long time.

So, my shout-out is about funds that Gairen REALLY FUNDS NEEDS ASAP! He needs $1000 BY THE END OF THIS MONTH to get through June.

He's also got a Can Drive going to help raise funds. So far, he's only made only $150.

So, if you spare any funds or cans, any amount with greatly appreciated.
