In a scene perhaps inspired by the opening of the Devil Wears Prada I was sent to interview for a position I wasn't really qualified for - IT work when my degree is in mechanical engineering.

A year later, I was suprised to be called back to interview again. the boss lady liked something about my attitude, maybe just my willingness to knuckle down an learn. The company was willing to put the time in to train me for the position. It was more like a computer lab than an office, rows of apple computers on clear plastic (or glass) shelves, the whole place full of light and color. I was sit down next to the boss lady, who had an identical workspace to everyone, to learn off of her, and given lots of reading material to take home, like homework.

It was a very informal environment, people taking breaks whenever they wanted, usually to a cafeteria full of very good food. It was necessary to have that - the hours spent programming were long and most people ate breakfast lunch and dinner in the office.

When I woke up I was actually really disappointed. I thought I'd found a dream job.

It's official - geting a good job is now in my consciousness.

As with my previous dream about finding a dream job, nothing here is impossible, just unlikely.
