This might only make sense to me, but It's something really I have to try.

If you know me, I devote a ton of my time and energy to what I do. Honestly it's difficult to maintain most days. I have three webcomics that I work on, plus art, plus I want to have time to work on animations, plus commissions and more. I've been teetering on burnout lately and honestly it's taken a toll on me and the quality of the art I'm able to produce. And having this looming anxiety of needing to get commissions done when I'm trying to do everything else, has not been an enjoyable experience. Until now, I've always been open for commissions and even though I don't get many that often, I get enough that it's still overwhelming. It's also unfair to the people waiting for their commissions, because I'm not able to focus on them in the timely manner. So in an attempt to simplify this, I'm creating a specific commission schedule that I hope will work better for me and you. If it doesn't work the way I hope, I'll rework it again, but this is something I have to do.

For the people who have been very patient waiting on their commissions. I am going to finish those up this month and get them to you. I am officially closing commissions until the 31'st which I will explain in a second. Then I will start my new schedule for how I intend to do commissions moving forward.

From now on, I intend to open commissions the last Saturday of each month and will close them the following Monday or if all of the slots are full, whichever comes first. Then I will take the first two weeks out the month and I work on all of those commissions. I am contemplating possibly doing a livestream the second Wednesday of each month, where I will color and complete all of the commissions I have for that month. But I'm not sure yet. I thinking it would be a good accountability thing. Let me know if you are interested in that.

The next two weeks out the month, I will be dedicating to working specifically on animations.

Keep in mind this is all in addition to my usual comic schedule.

Then the whole process starts all over.

Again, I understand that some people might find this super confusing, but it's what I think will work best for me. In addition, I think having a dedicated time in which I'm open for commissions will help people to know how to commission me. I think there has been a lot of confusion. Especially since I never make announcements saying that I'm open, when I am. It will also help me to have more control over when I accept commissions. If I find that I need to take a break, I can remain closed a little longer until I am ready to reopen.
