Greetings! I have returned to Weasyl!

It's been a long time. As you can see, I do indeed have a new username. Much has changed since I last entered here. I now have a fursona, and I will use his name as my username here going forward. I will be uploading art of him eventually.

I decided to leave FurAffinity after a long period of not using it. I am also disillusioned with site management, and at the time of this writing, the site is having a severe child pornography issue caused by trolls that has barely been addressed. To say that I'm disgusted doesn't even begin to make it justice.

But in general, I'm sick and tired of the site being so badly programmed and stuck in the early 2000's. The backwards user interface, corporate selling out, lack of safety features (especially for minorities such as latinos), lack of protections against underage users and proliferation of popufur cliques just make the site a chore. There’s also the fact that no one really reads my FA or stuff anymore. Plus, I have more bad memories of FurAffinity than good memories. Nothing good has really come from there.

I have made the not-so-difficult decision to leave FurAffinity. Within the next few days, I will be transferring my submissions to Twitter/Weasyl, and my stories elsewhere. I hate Twitter just as much as anyone else, yet it has infinitely better protections, and it’s a lot easier to get the word out on stuff. It’s sadly a necessary evil. And it's been a good while, so I'm willing to give Weasyl another opportunity. :3 Looking forward to seeing how it operates now.

So yeah, I'll be here from now on!
