2021 was not that different from 2020, albeit it somehow felt less chaotic.

I didn't have as much anxiety as I did in the previous year. More than anything, I recall feeling very annoyed and exceptionally bored. After all, I didn't really get out of the house much, no thanks to COVID-19.

But apart from that, another present arrived recently. It is the "Jurassic Park" book, from which the movie was adapted from. It was sent over by a friend of my mother's who thought I would be interested in reading it. Maybe I will read it once I've finished "The Three-Body Problem." I haven't done so yet, but I do plan on doing so very soon.

Now onto other matters. I really need to sort out my faith, as well as my understanding of God. I understand that not everyone believes this sort of thing, but this is what I choose to believe. My faith has been really challenged lately.

As for my hobbies, I've been thinking about writing a book soon at some point in the future. I already have a few notes. I've barely even begun writing it though.

On a random note, I watched the new "Dune" movie recently. I thought it was pretty good. In my opinion, much better than the 80's version. I enjoyed the new one better.

And yeah. That's pretty much it. This was comparatively shorter than all my other "New Year" journals. But there isn't really much to say.

I hope the next year gets better somehow. But I'm not having the highest expectations.
