Looking to the Future! Happy New Year! by psychoseby

Happy New Year!

Let me start this off by thanking all of you for following, supporting, and just hanging out with me this year! It’s been one hell of a year! I am so grateful to have such supportive friends, such helpful mods, such chill and creative clients, the list goes on!

The majority of my 2020 was spent chipping away at the enormous workload I naively took on in 2019, most of which were from conventions. I’ve had time management problems with commission work before this too, which has all snowballed into this monstrous backlog that I am still working at. It’s at its last handful of pieces now, and I can confidently say that It will be cleared out in 2021. Honestly though, all the things that finally clicked for me this year should have clicked years ago, and i'm paying for it now.

The meat of what’s left of my backlog is comic projects. All big ones, and all extra kinky! I know for a fact 2021 will be a good comic year for me, which has me very excited!
With all this talk about backlog in mind, I’ll be entering 2021 with a very limited commission availability. In 2020, I was doing on average over 30 sketches each month, hitting up to 60 during my substar boom in august, while also finishing backlog. To put it in perspective, the first 450 images in my gallery(FA) are from this year. ALL of my Eka's posts are from this year. That’s insane.

My plan for 2021 is to focus the remainder of my backlog, do my monthly Substar rewards, and then take 1-2 monthly commission slots as needed.

I honestly have so many things planned for next year. I’m eager to learn and develop my skills even more! 2020 was the year I became comfortable working digitally, finally. This upcoming year I hope to fine tune some areas of my work, most notably my comic style, and explore other creative avenues, like live2D. I’ll be focusing on improving my streams, and creating more content for my SubscribeStar, like time lapse videos and tutorials. If all goes according to plan, I hope to also get my own site, and webcomic going in the later half!

Agaon, I could not have achieved so much during this traumatic and challenging year without the support from all my friends, mods, and followers! Thank you so so much! Here’s to an even better 2021!

Looking to the Future! Happy New Year!
