What's up guys!??!
If you guys want to talk about art/life then feel free to just pm me or leave a shout on this page or something. I also really appreciate comments on my art! I don't bite.
I don't mind too much because I post my art on other sites where people do talk more, just that it's kid of jarring how little people talk on here. Though I agree that it is slightly better than wading through lots of short, not very constrictor comments.
Also I tried to get into DnD with a friend a while back, but we still haven't been able to. Finding a local group that's easily accessible is pretty hard :(
u may wana just try to find an online group, search roll20.net and tangled web and u may find something. just make sure to advertise that ur new or problems will arise when u can only fill out 5 out of 50 things on ur character sheet, i had to spend hours talking with my DM to finally decide on how i wanted to build my druid, then i did a practice intro this afternoon and found glaring flaws in my spell lineup as well as my wizard buddies susceptibility to being crit in the face(the boss rolled 20 twice in a row on him after he rolled two 1s lol) he almost had to make a new character after the first fight
Yeah, but its a mix of this being "the other site" like Luna said, as well as it being either more established artists or older artist drawn here because of the relative calm and chill community, and neither of them have much time to chat too much. x3
I wish there was a higher level artist community site or SECTION of a site.
( Good ol Oekaki days.. )
But that would more than likely get really opinion based real fast and start a shit storm with people.
Like, "Oh I deserve to be in the advanced section! But I'm not! this is cruel! blehhh!"
-covers head uguuuuuuhh-
I mean no offense to artists starting out or not as experienced artists at all,
I guess what I'm aiming for is a more Adult community that is also mature at the same time.
( which is /usually/ older and experienced artists. )
I KIND OF SOUND LIKE A JERK for saying that but yanno, it's just true. eh.

So far this site kinda seems like "the other site" to me and probably many others. This is why most people don't talk i would assume, a mix of not full interest and not much knowledge on the mechanics of the site. Don't take it hard until the community is much larger. I myself kind of hate the sorting of msgs compared to deviantart which is my main art site, but they will no doubt make it better in time.
As for what's up...trying to explore the world of indie game development and trying to get into Dungeons & Dragons at the same time, probably shouldn't but oh well.
