Season 9 FHL NEWS - October, 31st, 2020

RETENTION COMPLETED

With the close of the Retention Period on Thursday, October 29th 2020, all teams have submitted and completed their Retention Lists for the Season. Players retained by teams are listed below:

Any player not listed has been released from their respective teams, and will be available to be selected as part of the Season 9 Draft.

SEASON 9 DRAFT OPENING

With Retentions completed, the League is ready to begin this Seasons Draft. The Draft will start tonight, Saturday, October 31st, 2020 at 6:20 Eastern, and will occur over 6 rounds running over a 8 day period. During this, Teams will have the ability to select from available free agents and rookies as teams work to set their teams for the year.

PRE-DRAFT TRADE NEWS

As the Retention Period was completed, a trade came accross the wire. The Omaha Stampeders traded Ace Andrews to the Thunder Bay Puffins for the Puffins 3rd Round Pick in the S9 FHL Draft. The trade was approved by the Commission.
