The day The Joker came out almost feels like yesterday; I still remember theaters being secured by police as people were yelling the movie will cause mass shootings and spawn a murder spree. I'm sure that like me, most of you probably made the mistake of thinking that was the last time a movie was going to set society ablaze, and that nothing in the film world could stir more controversy and horrifying brainless reactions from the upright apes. This right here is probably going to win the title of most controversial film in the history of humanity. Its existence has members of the far-right and not only rolling around in hysterical agony. Even the comment section of that trailer is flooding with everything that could be scraped off the bottom of the pit that is collective human stupidity.

What oh what could it possibly be this time, that would warrant such a reaction from the world's "beacon of Democracy"? Surely it must have done something very grave and serious! Strap yourselves to the chair with whatever you can find for the amazing answer: A group of 11 year old girls... dancing! Yep; Other than the movie approaching sensitive subjects such as religion and teen sexuality, that's pretty much the main reason the planet is on fire once again: Eleven year old girls that danced in "progressive" clothing... you know, because it's on par with child molestation and murder and probably genocide too just for safe measure.

You know when I first found out about this yesterday, I didn't think about making a journal over it. I said to myself "this kind of insanity is normal by now, we all know this is the kind of world we live on, who even cares any more". Except today I found out it gets much worse, more downright creepy, and more Orwellian than anyone could have probably imagined.

Politicians including Tom Cotton, famous for supporting the anti-internet proposal known as the EARN IT act, are calling for the people at Netflix to be arrested on child porn charges for allowing the movie to be aired on their platform. Meanwhile political figures in Texas want to criminalize it... to the point where it implies arresting anyone caught watching this film. Yep: We might have the first movie in the history of film-making that could become illegal in the West and get you arrested for possessing it. Just like the good ol' days of Soviet dictatorship, when you'd rent Western films illegally and watch them under your blankets afraid the Communist "securitate" might catch you... now coming to the USA in the "progressive" year 2020!

Needless to say this film is just a film like any other: It doesn't contain any actual NSFW content, didn't break any laws in its production, and simply approaches its own subjects of choice. It doesn't condone anything controversial either... quite oppositely it was indented to show the difficulties of growing up which some teens go through, including the brutalities faced by children in conservative families. I hear it's already award winning over in France where it was made! While many acknowledge the outburst is downright ridiculous and even Netflix had to interfere with official clarification, no amount of logic and reason can stop the crazed cults controlling this planet from descending further into insanity.
