Hope everyone has been having a good summer, COVID 19 notwithstanding. I do hope everyone has been staying safe and keeping healthy as much as possible. Wear your masks and wash your hands. If not for the virus next weekend I would be flying to Vegas for the third time in my life for Star Trek Las Vegas, but unfortunately I have my doubts that even the rescheduled dates for this December will still happen unless a vaccine is developed, and even then I don't know. In truth I feel we are likely all out of luck regarding mass gatherings such as cons until 2021 at the soonest.

On the writing front I've completed the month's short story project a few days early but it'll give me some time to decide on what to work on next and set up the next few months of rewards on patreon as well as settle on a release schedule.

Also in case I hadn't mentioned it in journal form my youtube channel has received permission from XSEED games to produce some content on a game I've been playing called Trails of Cold Steel, so be prepared to start seeing some video game related content on my channel.

The birthday was good, if low key. No friends, but pizza, a good movie, and some birthday wishes from people so no complaints. I got some nice gifts, I thought about doing a video on them, but that felt tacky so I decided not to. But other than that, I'm still here and still in one piece, so there's that.
