Art Theft...Don't Do It. by XRedMoon
It has come to my attention this morning thanks to a few twitter users, that my artwork was stolen and being sold on redbubble. I have already filed a DMCA; but from this point on I will be heavily watermarking my works as well as lowering the resolution more than I already have. If I create a piece for you (via trade or commission) I will send you a private DM with a full res, lesser watermarked version, but still have at least one.
I hate that this has come to this, but I will not stand for this. Don't steal art. It's not cool. ESPECIALLY if you're going to sell it for personal gain.
I'm not going to go through my whole gallery on all my art sites to watermark previous works, so if you see something of mine that's NOT on a page run by me PLEASE notify me immediately. You can best contact me via DMs/Notes on my various sites.

ooh noo! that's horrible. I hope you managed to settle that situation with relative ease ;w; i can't imagine what that's like.
i do watermark my stuff! it's thankfully the reason someone found/notified me of this happening. (the seller didn't even try to remove it) but on top of my normal watermark now I add even more marks across the whole piece and lower the resolution just to make it harder for thieves, and easier to find me if this DOES happen again.

yeahh my friends and some other people really helped me out, i was really thankful for them <=) i was literally frozen with fear and couldn't say anything but "thanks" and "sorry" so i really appreciate everyone's kindness <=D i appreciate that you care too! and that's really good you watermark your works! i've gotten into the habit of watermarking every art now, which is good cos it stops most thieves at least :3 i understand you'd only be thankful for that reason cos i feel the same too! it's like when i have enemies, i'm still thankful for all the cool things and people they introduced me to ^w^ even though i rather avoid foes cos like, i don't wanna put up with their dramas or anything.. QwQ sorry if my message is confusing! feeling very sleepy so i don't mean to sound rude or anything too, sorry!

i know how you feel, i had my art and ocs stolen once and it was very scary :< i completely agree that art theft is so not cool, i now watermark my works for that reason too Ú.Ù though i like to be sneaky and make my watermarks almost invisible but still readable ;3 hopefully this wont happen again for the both of us!
