Red Sun
The sun is there, the sky is red
In the heavens, blood has been shed
We stand together, in the light
Towards the sun, we aim our spite
Within the rays, the air is hot
For this to happen, I thought not
As now there is a heated gust
Upon our flesh, it has been thrust
What happens next is frightening
Our hearts are struck by lightning
For all within this heated gust
Our skin and bones, now ash and dust
Flesh is now, but nothing more
Than many clouds of ash galore
We're all but gone, and nothing left
Of life our world is now bereft
