I only ever read two books from the Goosebumps series, but one of them left a huge impression on me, and I cannot recall the name. Googling the plot did nothing to help, either.
The story was a boy stays with relatives, I think, and there's a werewolf in the woods nearby. It turned out to be some kind of werewolf skin that the relatives put on...? It was kept in a box, and the boy finds it... Agh, that's all I can remember clearly. That was the very, very first (and one of the only) things I wrote a fanfiction for, because I wanted to know more about cool werewolf skin powers that change you into a beast.
Does anyone *cough*Gen*cough* know what volume this was? Am I crazy, and making it up entirely?
Man, the covers for these are pretty out there. I know it's just some girl going cross-eyed, but still, that's a "real" dead girl they put on :o
It seems the book I was thinking of was literally just called "Werewolf Skin", linked below. I don't know how I managed to not find it. I am truly terrible at google searches.
heh, I just went to yahoo and searched 'goosebumps werewolf skin' :B
yer welcome :3
might I ask, you plan on redoing said fanfic?
I'ma total nerd for lycan' stuff <3
Been a LONG time since I dove into that series, read most of the books, including the "choose your own adventure" ones. Most of the TV episodes were pretty bleh except one which gave me nightmares for years, The Haunted Mask. For some reason the cheesy-ass CG effects they used for having the masks float through the air and chase the people were just plain terrifying.
Totally reminds me of this cover: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51FRJJRHDPL.jpg fuck you goosebumps for making me sexualize wolves.
